Pressed in white refractory clay, with decoration engraved by hand with various patterns stenciled on raw clay, under glossy blue crystalline glaze. All Bitossi ceramics are entirely handmade by their artisans at every stage of the production process.
The iconic Rimini Blu series, produced since 1959, stands out for its distinctive surface texture. The decoration—made up of markings that form a fantastical round dance of abstract-geometric elements, sealed beneath the blue glaze—evokes the play of light on the surface of the sea.
